hybrid engine

A gasoline-electric hybrid motor for use in rear-wheel drive vehicles. It would be ideal for something like a mid-size luxury silk; like a 5er bmw or cadillac cts. but the gasoline engine is sohc design; vvt and a low pressure turbo with intercooler. Ideally, the Atkinson cycle is executed; It would be around 2 liters and produce 175 horsepower and torque. An electric motor is engaged through a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission; giving an additional 40 horsepower and 100 ft-ibs from tq; 215 horsepower; 275 ft-ibs of torque.
