Crank lathe (simple mechanism)

It is a simple mechanism where the strength of a circular to linear transformation mechanism is appreciated. The crank consists of a bar that is attached to an axis that it rotates. This axis is attached to a winch that, when turned, picks up a rope that drags an object.
