Metal protection cover detail

This masonry top of the wall detail shows a metal coping held in place with a continuous cove. the bonnet tilts toward the ceiling to spew water. the roof structure is supported by a tie beam; part of the load-bearing masonry system. the wall has a clean air gap of 2 for drainage; and ventilation openings are closed at 24 oC there is an air/moisture/vapor barrier on the cavity side of the cmu; and a rigid insulation of 2 resides in the drainage cavity.
